EMS has an immediate opening for an experienced CDL Truck Driver for our Atlanta, GA location.

Job Description

EMS has an immediate opening for a customer service oriented Truck Driver to deliver aluminum extrusions out of our Atlanta, GA operation to area customers. A Class A CDL drivers license is required. This is a full time position.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Class A CDL Driver's License with 3 years of experience
  • Experience operating a flatbed trailer is preferred
  • Clean MVR with no more than one major violation within the past 5 years
  • Lift and carry heavy material up to 75 lbs.; climb on and off a flat bed trailer
  • Be able to read, write and communicate in English effectively.
  • Perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Read a tape measure.
  • Be able to stand for extensive periods of time.
  • Be able to bend over, reach upwards or outwards, twist, turn around and climb up and down.
  • Occasional overnight stays maybe required
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
